Don't hold your breath, KC. SF is probably going to be spending the next two weeks learing how to spell his name.
Just 2 weeks? The question is how much money will he lose not being on "his site" while he learns how to spell Rothliesberger?
Rothlisberger was an absolute steal at #11. Last week, I was rooting for Oakland to take him at #2. Ben has all the tools and will definitely make the Steelers much better at QB, a position that they have not had consistancy with for years.
First of all it's Roethlisberger. You guys need to get it right. (I'm a quick learner.) Second, I'm crossing my fingers about this guy. They seem to think he has the most upside potential so let's hope he's not a bust for Pittsburgh. He seems to have all the tools to be a franchise QB. I'm hoping they keep Maddox this year and maybe next and then move big Ben in. Could be great for a long time....
I would be disapointed if ben couldn't start atleast next year, cowher was impressed with him in minicamp so lets just hope for the best, it should be interesting
I'm in no rush to see this guy start. If he starts in '05 so be it, but if Tommy has a good season, I don't see any reason to rush it.
true, but i still think it would be in the teams best interest to start him next year, I really think he has the tools to get us over the hump
To me, this rookie has shown that he's the real deal. I'll bet that several teams are now wishing that they had traded down to get him. As I watched the halftime highlights today, I thought I was watching Elway (and not because they have the same number, OK well, the nightmares haven't gone away yet).
Man, I'm pissed! I didn't start him today! I started Hasselback. I guess we'll see how Hasselback does now.
Thanks for the kudos ROTR. He looks great for a rookie, hell he looks great period. He's fun to watch and I think he's going to be a very good QB for a long time.
