<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Former University of Colorado center David Harrison will be among the second group of players to work out for the Nuggets today.

Of the six who went through a two-hour workout Tuesday, none was a familiar name that will send Denver fans dashing to the ticket office.

Harrison, though, believes he can offer the Nuggets instant selling power.

"I would love to go to the Nuggets, especially if I'm (available at No. 20)," he said Tuesday. "It would be a nice situation. I would be somewhat local, and I believe I could bring more fans in."

Harrison, a 7-foot, 260-pound center who left Colorado after his junior year, will be joined by fellow big men Ha Seung-Jin of South Korea and Cleiton Sebastio of Brazil. Also scheduled to work out are Florida State guard Tim Pickett and Gonzaga guard Blake Stepp.

Despite his local ties, Harrison said he will not feel any extra pressure to perform well, and he is looking forward to being in familiar surroundings after workouts in Atlanta and New Jersey.

"It's the only place I'm not going to get lost," he said.

As for the six players who tried to impress the Nuggets on Tuesday, the most intriguing was Damir Omerhodzic, a 6-foot-11, 225-pound forward who plays in Croatia.

With impressive shooting range and an 18-year-old birth certificate, he is the latest Eastern European to draw comparisons to Dallas Mavericks All-Star forward Dirk Nowitzki.

"I just come here and try to get drafted and we'll see if we get some minutes," he said. "You never know."

Born in Sarajevo, Omerhodzic moved to Sweden when civil war broke out in the former Yugoslavia in 1991, and he began playing organized basketball about four years ago.

Although he was too young to remember much about the violence in his native country, Omerhodzic knows his family's decision to leave was the best thing for his future.

"It was a hard situation. You lose a lot of friends and family," he said. "Maybe I would not be here if I had stayed. It was a terrible thing I had to see."</div>

Seems like Vandewghe and co. are really interested in this guy. It's a good idea to pick up a PF/Center because we might not retain Camby this off-season.
