Spurs/Suns Cavs/Nets Detroit/Chicago Utah/Golden State. Predictions, anyone? I think all of these series will be long 6 or 7 games. That's about the only prediction that I can totally agree on. I'll say Golden State in 6, Suns in 7, Chicago in 6 (though they did get killed yesterday), New Jersey in 6. Yeah, but I really don't know.
Why doesn't the NBA re-seed the teams after every round? The big problem last year was that the two best Western teams were facing each other in the 2nd round. Well, despite the changes, the exact same thing is happening this year. Stern needs to take a page out of the NHL's book, IMO. The matchups should be: Suns vs. Warriors, Spurs vs. Jazz in the West & Pistons vs. Nets, Bulls vs. Cavs in the East.

But i guess teams would be complaning and stuff. But that was be cool if they switched the match-ups up.

Warriors going into 2nd round are the best in the West having defeated the #1 seed & Jazz are the 4th best having defeated the 4th best record in the West. Similarly, Suns held their position are #2, and Spurs did the same at #3.
