I'd like to hear him say; I need to step up my game and my decision-making; then I can get those minutes back. I am disappointed he is not as mentally tough as I thought he was.

This is a business. He's has an $80 mil contract. The last thing we should be talking about are his feelings.

is he feeling "sorry that his team is stuck with his huge contract for 4 more years when his knees are shot? I can understand the difficult and rapid adjustment he has had to deal with, but come on" Brandon, even you have to realize how poorly you are playing, Nate gave you a big chance in game 1 and you did nothing.

I've been saying this for the past two weeks now. Nate should have played Roy and let him find his rhythm in those meaningless games in the regular season. He can contribute.

Problem is this could now become a distraction we don't need, I wish he would have not said what he did but it's done now. We have our backs against the wall and now this? Oh well

yeah i was almost wondering if maybe thats what seemed to infect the team in the 4th last night, there didnt seem to be alot of chemistry out on the floor.

I figure giving him more money than the combined lifetime salaries of all of us in this forum, while knowing he had bad knees was being treated good enough

no doubt. Whining to the press about feeling personally slighted in the playoffs isn't being a team leader.

The athlete who is physically shot is usually the last to know. Tough break for him ... and the team.

Makes me wonder if Roy pays attention when they study tapes from the previous game.

Shut up, Roy. You're making millions for doing nothing.

yep, you'd think he'd at least stay quiet until the playoffs are done, instead he does this after another loss and we are down 2-0 to Dallas - bad timing and any shred remaining of being a "team leader' is now gone. He's quickly going from being a franchise savior to a pariah - what an incredible fall

If he wants to stay in the game, cut out the passive play! He took one shot and then didn't even look at the hoop the rest of the time he was in! Bad knees or no, he still has a sweet looking jumper! Take some shots!

perhaps in the eyes of fans, but I sort of doubt his teammates feel the same way.

And really, is he any different now than when he was going to all-star games and getting all-NBA honors? The only thing that has changed is his body, not his personality (aside from the fact that his body being diminished seems to have sapped him of confidence).

I wish the bench didn't suck on this team.

I have no problem with him stating his feelings. He has the right to feel any way he wants. Hopefully he will realize that Nate can't afford to keep him in there when he misses his only shot and both of his free throws. He needs to be productive immediately when he comes off the bench. There is no time to "warm up" to the game.
