42-year-old Roy Jones Jr. (54-7, 40 KO’s) could be facing Russian cruiserweight contender Denis Lebedev (21-1, 16 KO’s) next in May in what could be yet another knockout loss for Jones. Things haven’t been going very good for Jones as of late with Jones having lost three out of his last five bouts, including his last two. If Jones does end up taking on Lebedev, Jones would be facing arguably the best fighter in the cruiserweight division bar none.

Oh Roy, when is enough, enough? It's been 7 years since Tarver put him to sleep in the 2nd round. 7 years. Your glass chin was never exposed when you were in your prime b/c your reflexes were simply to fast for you to ever get hit flush. But you haven't been that guy in over 7 years. How does this fight with Lebedev not end with Roy taking a nap? Lebedev is an excellent puncher, he's technically sound, and he's a southpaw. Roy simply won't be able to take his punch, and there is no way he's able to avoid getting hit by a guy of this caliber. Somebody please stop this from happening. I don't want to see Roy end up like Ali. Old guys fighting past their primes is sad to watch, but at least a guy like Holyfield isn't getting put to sleep every other fight. It's one thing to lose, it's another to be seperated from your senses. Somebody, please . . .
