Michigan wide receiver Roy Roundtree, who had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Aug. 10, has been cleared to play in the Wolverines' season opener against No. 2 Alabama on Saturday.

The news is less certain for would-be starting running back Fitzgerald Toussaint.
