TO, RW, Crayton, Hurd, Austin? Yes please

QUOTE

The one thing you learn about Williams very quickly is that he loves Texas and would love to return to his home state. Williams is a Texas guy and mentions it in nearly every interview and flies back to his home in Odessa to see his young child every chance he gets. If the Lions get two consecutive days off, Williams bolts for Texas. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with that, but it shows where his heart is.

I could see Jerry giving him a big pay day a la Leonard Davis. Unfortunately Crayton would probably go, but with Sam Hurd being (and performing like) TO's protege and Miles Austin being a serious return man, I could see it going down.
Although I'll never let go of my ultimate dream: that Jamaica Rector makes the team, sigh.

That would be so great, Owens and Williams. I hope a trade can be made before FA, so the Cowboys are even better come playoffs. I like Crayton, but we also forget about Terry Glenn, what about him. I say we package Crayton & Glenn for Williams and a draft pick maybe, I don't know. But I want Roy Williams.

It seems possible because Detroit would be fine without him and stick with Johnson and Furrey. But I doubt Millen would let him go without a fight or at least a good offer since he spent such a hard time getting a good reciever in the first round. Also, Terry Glenn is still a Cowboy and Crayton is too. Unless one of them leaves and is willing to get demoted, the Cowboys seem to be set a WR until father time finally gets to Owens.

I can't see them holding onto Glenn for much longer. He's a Parcells guy, and they could stand to get younger there.

Glenn is probably going to retire after this year, what with this knee injury taking him out most of the year. With Romo, TO, RW, and Witten I don't think we'd ever have to run the ball.
