QUOTE

MORGANTOWN--According to WVU players, at a team meeting Sunday afternoon at the Puskar Center, Head Football Coach Rich Rodriguez announced that he is leaving West Virginia University to take over the football program at the University of Michigan.

Link
Damn, WVU lost a basketball and football head coach to Michigan. At least in basketball they managed to make a big upgrade.
I'm betting Terry Bowden will get the job since he is a WVU grad

Pryor just added em to the list.Doesn't mean he is going there. Rich Rod switching places won't have that much impact on it either. And I thinkRich Rod would run the more passing type ofspread offense that he ran at Tulane. Mallett wouldn't be going anywhere then. Same offense he ran in HS. At WV, he had to adjust to the run based spread because he didn't have the personnel.

Pryor was one of the first people to know that Rich Rod was heading to Michigan. My opinion: he's going there. And if he does, Mallett is gone. Pryor will start from Day 1. In addition, Rich Rod told Pryor he will be using the same offense he used at WV. Not good at all for Mallett.

Yeah, he told him, to offer him a scholarship. Of course, he's going to want to get him. Doesn't mean he's going there. I think he's going to Ohio State, like it's always been all along. Distance is a huge factor because of his parents. Not to mention, being able to to play Bball. Belien apparently, wouldnt let him play BB and Football while he was at recruiting him at WV. Also, again, of course, he's going to tell him, he's running the same offense at WV. He wants him to go there. Without him, he'll have to keep Mallett and run the more pass style spread. Basically, the same offense.
