Regal FC Barcelona beat Olympiakos 86-68 Sunday to win the Euroleague title. Ricky Rubio, the club's starting point guard, had another good game and said he's glad he stayed home instead of coming to the NBA. The Timberwolves selected Rubio with the fifth pick in the 2009 NBA draft. "To be in the Final Four of the Euroleague, this is where I want to be," Rubio told a correspondent for the Star Tribune. "I've worked hard to make it to this goal. And this shows me that I chose the best option. I am so happy on this team. These players help me improve every day and so do the assistant coaches and other staff." Rubio has an escape-clause in his contract that would allow him to come over to the NBA after the 2010-11 season. Source: Star Tribune
