    Trading/Free Agency

Roster moves are one of the most exciting and versatile parts of a fantasy league, but can also be very complicated. We have created a system that is relatively simple but most importantly fair to all involved.

    1. Trading ? all trades must be approved by a commissioner. When the trade is made, it will either be approved or denied on the spot. Nothing will be held over longer than 24 hours. We do realize that everyone has a right to make trades at there own discretion, but we also want to make sure that no one is ?stacking? a team for the playoffs. If a trade is made involving one or more commissioner, the commissioner who is not involved has the final word.
    2. Both parties must verify a trade with a commissioner. No exceptions!!
    3. The Trade & Free Agency Deadline has been set for week 10, Sunday, November 14th. No Trades or Free Agency pickups can be made after 1 p.m. on this date. Please make sure that you keep this week in mind as the season unfolds. We will remind you week 9.
    4. Free Agency ? The Free Agency system will be based on worst to first order. The team with the worst record has first dibs on any free agent. The second worst team has next opportunity, and so on and so forth.
    6. If the 2 or more teams are pursuing the same free agent and have identical records, then the tiebreaker system is the reverse of the playoff tiebreaker system.
    7. The cutoff day and time is Wednesday at 8 p.m. If you have not picked up a player by this time, all rights to the free agent of choice are gone. It becomes a free for all from Wednesday at 8 p.m. until Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

    Injured Reserve

The injured reserve rules will most likely stay intact this season. The only possible change that may occur will come when the NFL makes a decision on how they will handle the weekly injury report. Rumor has it that the NFL is doing away with the weekly injury report, which would change our current system. Please be aware that these rules may change:

    1. If you have a player injured, you can place him on injured reserve and pick up either his back up or any other free agent.
    2. Injured players are players considered ?Out? or ?Doubtful? for the week in question after they have sustained an injury. If a player is ?Questionable? he must be removed from the Injured Reserve List.
    3. You will have first choice over the waiver order for replacing injured players.
    4. If two teams have injured players, then the team with the worse record has first shot at the free agent. The exception to this rule is that all teams have first dibs on the injured player?s back up regardless of the waiver positioning. Outside of that, if two teams have injured players, it falls back into the waiver order. But please note: *If your injured player?s backup was drafted, he will not be available to pick up. *
    5. If the 2 or more teams with injured players have identical records, then the tiebreaker system is the reverse of the playoff tiebreaker system.
    6. When the player returns back healthy, the team has three choices. They can drop the player that was injured permanently, drop the player that was picked up as the interim player, or drop someone else on their roster to open up the space. **Please note: The roster still has to remain in tact as specified above. **
    7. There is also no deadline to Injured Reserve. This system allows you to replace players even deep into the playoffs.
