I think the Cavs should deal with the Nuggets and try to get JR Smith and Kenyon Martin. Smith works as a spot up shooter and Kmart as a defender, alleyoop dunker with Lebron passing the ball. Can the Cavs still use Eric Snow's contract in a trade? Williams/Gibson Smith/West James/Pavlovic Martin/Varejao Ilgauskas/Wallace Nuggets get out from Martin's contract.
Well to be honest only way they get him is if Lebron is coming back to us, I'd deal Boone/VC right now straight up for King James, but they won't so we don't need to talk about this and Cleveland needs to take VC's name off thier wishlist.
Actually, Cavs can have anyone they want for LeBron. They can have Harris, Yi, Carter and Lopez. Because players like LeBron come around once every 2 decades.
I prefer the nets being the team who beats the cavs with Lebron James, using the team they have now with the 2009 draft pick and the 2 2010 draft picks.
Monday, November 17 Will Cavs Make A Run At Carter? Vince Carter | Nets Keep this name in mind: Vince Carter. Many observers around the league think the Nets will make the veteran shooting guard available at the trade deadline, and don't be surprised if the Cavs make another run at him. The question in Cleveland is whether Carter can set aside his ego and play second fiddle with the Cavs. He should be able to accomplish that in order to win a championship before he retires. -- The News-Herald From ESPN INsider
There is no reason to trade Carter right now, especially to the Cavs. They could easily just wait till the deadline and get the best deal possible if they want talent back.
