FWIW....obviously, take it with (less than) a grain of salt considering the format from which it came.

    Nonetheless.....

Crawford and Roy are really good friends, and Turiaf would be a great back up to Aldridge.

That being said, where the hall are all these guys gonna play? Turiaf would step in and play the back up 4 right away, but Blake, Sergio, Bayless, Roy, Rudy and Crawford? What the fuck?

Crawford is a volume shooting low percentage player. Freinds with Roy? Who gives a shit. He sucks.

Turiaf I would take in a second though. He would be a solid backup PF.

    PASS.

Turiaf, while a good banger....is not worth that contract. And Crawford is streaky.

also i think turiaf benefitted a lot from playing with a good team in LA, and has dropped off with GS. i doubt he would really be much of an upgrade over diogu.

4 years 18 million? That's right in line with what he brings. Pretty reasonable contract.

Well there is your vet Pg and your back up PF. I think it is exactly what some of you have been asking for! Turiaf would be perfect. Crawford......well aside from his contract he would be Ok at best. And yes another trade would have to occur.

I actually like Crawford. He was one of the few Knicks who actually had talent and character. He doesn't shoot the best percentage, but that might be related to having the green light on a bad team and throwing up bad shots all the time. On our team, with the better looks he would get, I'm guessing he'd shoot a few percentage points better. But then you are playing him at PG, which isn't really his position (although he has played it a bunch). I don't know, it's not the worst thing I could think of.

    Turiaf is a legimate 6'10
My knock on ike is he is too short. I know he has long arms, but he seems to get a lot of shots blocked.

Turiaf is better than Ike. Amazing how Turiaf was able to get good minutes with a Finals team, and Ike hasn't been able to crack the rotation of 3 mediocre to decent teams.
