I'm going to pass this along with one huge caveat: This is an unconfirmed email we just got. It says Delonte is at New England Baptist Hospital right now getting a pre-signing physical. Again... this is an unsubstantiated rumor that may or may not be true. I have a feeling that if Delonte was in town, someone somewhere would have seen him. But we'll pass it along just in case http://www.redsarmy.com/home/2010/0...dsArmy (Red's Army: The Voice Of Celtics Fans)
This signing is clearly a mind game for if the Celtics face Miami in the playoffs, bringing in Lebron's nemesis.
He's not better than Nate Robinson at PG and if he's backing up Ray, then who is he guarding against Atlanta, Miami, or Orlando?
LOL he's better than Nate at PG. Nate was terrible, aside from 2 postseason games. Doc wasn't even playing him, opting for Tony Allen as backup PG. Delonte is the best backup PG we've had in the big 3 era. Your second question is weird because bench players usually play against other bench players, and he's not much worse than Ray at defending 2's.
btw, if people really believe Delonte banged LeBron's mom, yet the incident went completely unreported, then I would imagine they will believe anything.
hmmm, maybe I sensed it, or maybe I assumed some one with an image of a guy shoving a remote up his bum might joke around a little. But yeah.. I made that post after watching a guy on TV here saying Delonte should guard Bron in the playoffs and be like "how's mom?"
Meh, I never was a big fan. And was hoping for a solid wingman, but here's hoping he does well. I think I need glasses. I thought that was a taser.
He's one of the top all around sixth man off the bench if his head is right. I know your a Laker fan but that doesn't mean you can't give Boston props. Celtics have had an outstanding offseason. They got what they needed, some more bench firepower by adding West, Wafer, and resiging Nate and Daniels, they added some much needed length and size with Shaq and Jermaine O'Neal, and most importantly they resigned Pierce and Allen and brought back Doc Rivers. They are very deep. Rondo Allen Pierce KG Shaq Nate West Wafer Daniels JO
Delonte is a great addition for the Celtics as long as Garnett corners him up front right away and lets him know he'll put him through the locker wall if he plays his gangsta crap in Boston.
