I read somewhere that some guy called to Philly's radio station (WIP or something) and told that he has a guy in the organization and Sixers could trade AI for Pierce and Delonte West.I don't think it's true but would you do it?
I personally think it's a good trade for both sides and Id certainly do it if the Celtics add a pick.

    C-Dalembert
    PF-Webber
    SF-Pierce
    SG-Iguodala
    PG-West

It would give us more depth and our young guy Louis Williams would get more minutes. (IMO he played well when AI was out)

I don't think someone who called in a radio station is a very reliable source for a trade rumor. I could call WIP and tell them I know someone within the organiztion so does that mean anything? That person could have been anybody, and if he did happen to know inside information I'm sure he would not be allowed to air it out for everyone to hear, the business of the NBA does not work that way.

It's time to begin the A.I. trade talks [IMG]

In this case I like this. We get Delonte going back to Philly plus an all-star in Pierce. We would get bigger all around and better defensively. But do not listen to WIP for anything except the Eagles. WIP in my mind is an unreliable source for trade rumors and information.

You can "begin" AI trade talks until your blue in the face, he does not want to go anywhere and the 76ers organization is not going to get rid of him.

Hell no I wouldn't do it... even if it made our team better. No way I'm putting AI in the Celtic green. [IMG]

And as far as the rumor goes, it's false. The guy who said his source was inside the organization is a complete idiot. You know where he got it? Some lunatic on the Philly.com boards.

I know somebody who has much more reliable information from inside the organization, and if this trade was truly being discussed I would have known by now.

Th Celtics are getting ripped offed. Their Franchise player goes and another player goes for AI. Maybe a few more guys added to the deal then it has a sight chance of going through.
