Is Minnesota really this sweet on Ricky Rubio?

It's obvious that we're going for Rubio, and to be honest, I think we'll get him. I really doubt this is the way we'll do it though.

The Boston Globe reported that Amare/Big Al rumor too, I'm not buying any of their shit right now.

Seems like Memphis is definitely striking a deal for the #2 pick. Since Rubio doesn't want to play for them and plenty of teams want him it makes a lot of sense to package the pick. Apparently the Knicks & Grizzlies have a deal in place for the #2 pick. TWolves might have to up the ante for a shot at Rubio.

This'd be Randy Foye/Mike Miller/6th pick for Ricky Rubio. Kind've overpaying for an unknown, no?

As the Minnesota Timberwolves prepare to make a push for Memphis’ pick at No. 2, it’s become clear that they won’t package the fifth and sixth picks to get there. The Wolves have made it clear to teams that are trying to pry their 18th pick that it isn’t available. They want to use that in combination with one of the two higher picks to make a deal with Memphis.

I don't understand how that's possible. We have so many more chips than them, it's ridiculous.
