Would be an interesting pickup. Explosive offensive player who is a natural small forward but can also play power forward. Played really strongly for the Hornets a couple of years back, and has floated between Atlanta, New York and Orlando since. Will update you when I get more info!!!
Wow, great possibility for the Cavs. They'd get a strong scorer but his history with Paul Silas might not be a positive.
Nailon would be a good pickup for the Cavs. He's not a great player but he's someone good to have on your team.. plus, another scorer.
He just left Sioux Falls about an hour ago to join the Cavs..... Last game for Gary (CBA) scored 39 points!
Boy if we could combine him with Newble...........we would have an NBA Player! j/k of course, Nalion might be good, not sure how good he is though, have to wait and see.
He was a great scorer in college at TCU leading the nation in ppg one year I believe (rebounds too if I'm not mistaken). Cavs desperately need some help at the small forward position. Newble isn't going to give us any offense and Williams must be hanging out with Bremer too much lately. Its about time the Cavs tried something.
Perfect athletic foil behind Boozer, and also at small forward to assist the slumping Williams, injured Newble, little used Kapono and forgotten Brown.
yeah, this guy can play, can hit some perimeter shots and bang down low, for offense the 3 spot belongs to him, for D though it is still owned by Eric Williams....
He will be a nice addition for the Cavs, because they do need another player inside the post who can score when Z and Boozer take a breather. His defense is poor, but if anyone can get him to improve there, it has to be Silas. I think Silas actually had him when he coached the Hornets, so they are familiar with each other and Nailon should fit right in.
He can play boozer's back up minutes and if he plays well enough he could get some minutes at in place of our incumbent small forwards.
I'd love it if Nailon can contribute, but I wouldn't get too pumped up. I saw him up close at the Garden when he was with the Knicks. There is no way he could or should get Boozer's back-up minutes because he can't defend anywhere near Battie's level at power forward. He's definitely a much better scorer than anybody we have at small forward, but he can't defend at that position either. I'm not saying don't try him, only that we shouldn't get our hopes up. He's been hanging on his fingertips in recent years with team after team, which suggests to me that his scoring ability is not enough to make up for other deficiencies. Now that I think about it I recall that he complained about not playing enough minutes when he was in New York. Hope he helps but not sanguine.

STUPID CAVS
Just become aware that because Nailon wasn't signed before Monday he is ineligable to be in our playoff roster. Surely Paxson knew this! Why wasn't a move made earlier!
