Martin got the best of both worlds, a contract and a better situation, he signed for 2 years right? I can't remember I'm so pissed at this game.

Same for Aj. Still paid by the Yankees, but now he is on a contender instead of this mess.

We pay for play, I wonder exactly how many players we are paying for that our not on our roster or who are out of baseball?

AJ was a mental miget. And if half the team wasnt on the DL the loss of Martin wouldn't be so big

Yep a bad signing by cashman. And the he gives him away for nothing too boot. Funny how other teams can dump their bad contracts on the Yankees but the Yankees still pay when they dump theirs.

True but he's a mental miget on a first place team, ditto Matin, they are probably laughing themselves silly at this point in time.

Anything can happen but in light of recent events like going from second to first by taking 4 of 5 from you division rival is an indicator that collapse is out of the Pirates mindset.

AJ and Martin were not very good here, the prior worse than the latter. They can laugh all they want but those are the facts, so I won't lose any sleep over them being gone. Martin could have garnered a much bigger contract if he didn't jump on the first offer out there, so while he's laughing I'm not sure it should be considered all the way to the bank.
