    Washington (CNN)Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Friday she is undergoing chemotherapy to treat a recurrence of cancer. The treatment is yielding "positive results."

    The liberal justice, 87, said she remains "fully able" to continue in her post.
    Earlier this week, Ginsburg was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after having a fever and chills, and undergoing an "endoscopic procedure to clean out a bile duct stent that was placed last August," the court said at the time.
    Ginsburg said her cancer treatment is unrelated to this week's incident....................

    I’m praying with every ounce of my being that she makes it past the election. I could see her passing on November 1 and
    McConnell would have her replacement confirmed within the 48 hours before the election.....even though a year wasn’t enough time for Obama.....Hang in there RBG!

    I’m hoping she lives forever but........we’re all dying......and the hole that the other “human being” (You know, the one in the White House) dug is way too deep already. We don’t need it any deeper.......And I’d love to see some of the travesties foisted on this country the past 3 1/2 years get undone while I’M still alive.....

    What makes you say that? "We" would like her to live as long as possible. If she out-lives everyone else on the Court, that would be just fine.

    And no, that wasn't a threat of murder for every other justice.

    My only feelings about her are the desire for her to be impeached and removed immediately from the SCOTUS, along with anyone else who dares to abuse and misuse her/his position in our government. Her legacy is one of support of tyranny, religious oppression, elitism, and inequality. Shameful that she's not been removed long ago.
