The Pittsburgh Penguins have waived forward Ryan Craig and defenseman Andrew Hutchinson. Both players are expected to be assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton if they clear waivers. They were signed as free agents during the offseason. Craig had 32 goals in 184 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning from 2005-10. Hutchinson appeared in 135 NHL games with the Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, Lightning and Dallas Stars before playing for AHL Texas last season.
