San Diego Chargers starting running back Ryan Mathews will undergo surgery Friday morning for a broken collarbone. Mathews was injured on his first carry of the preseason in the first quarter of Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers. Coach Norv Turner has said he'll be out four to six weeks.
