With one more event left for season 3 of the MMA pick'em league, it's time to have another Grand Prix. For the Grand Prix you make your predictions for an event like normal. The difference is you're matched up against someone and the top score of the 2 people matched up moves on to the next round of the GP. Depending on the number of People signed up, it's possible to lose and move on if you have the top score of the losers. This is the sign up thread. If you don't sign up, you don't get a match! Sign ups end Wednesday April 1st as the first event for the GP is WEC 40 on April 5th. If you have any questions, post'em in here.
I'm for this. Also, I'm wondering--maybe we should add bonus points to someone who correctly picks an underdog? Not a lot, like two or three points, maybe. That way if you pick the underdog but miss the round and the type of victory, you still get a little bonus for being clever.
I suppose it would entail putting the bodog lines in the threads so people can see the +/- and know who the underdogs are.
the lock points are the bonus points. If you feel confident about an underdog you lock him in for more than 1 or 2 points.
this will be a short ass GP with just 4 ppl in it... anyone else wanna take a shot at making some mma predictions?? the cost is reaaaaaaaaally low to join
