The Kings take on the Suns in Saturday's game. I Don't know about how this game will go,as both teams are playing medicorliy,so it's a toss up in who will win this one,but i think the Kings can win,if we keep the offensive game going on strong, and bring our D with us.than we could win. Anyways,i think the Kings will win 87-84.not a pretty game, but we should win against the suns.i hope?
If the kings come out to play, they will win. if they suffer from the same lack of defense and not sticking with their normal offense, they will loose. sounds simplistic, but thats pretty much the way its going to go

I think we can win against the Suns, but can the Kings squad think the same?
To me, the Suns are a little bit of a donut team. If Miller and Webber can have strong games and the Kings can run the offence from the inside out, then I think that we might have a shot of pulling this one out. However, if the offense looks as poor as it did the other night in Seattle (no motion, everybody standing around, and no one being able to hit shots) then we might be in for a long night. The Kings need to play good hard-nosed defense for a full 4 quarters. Phoenix proved that they can let teams back into games against Cleveland. If the Kings want to win, they need to keep the foot on the gas all game long. If not, we'll all be asking why we are off to a 1 and 5 start.
No Defense, Yes Offense all for a good game. The guy who changes the game for me is Bobby Jackson or Q. Peja plays good finally and Amare goes nuts with Nash getting 13 assists, Bibby answering with 25 and Webber gets another Triple Double. High Scoring game with Kings coming on top.
[quote name='HardCore_BOozer'][quote name='MR_SAC_KING']The bottom line is both teams are lousy<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Huh? What season have you been watching? Phoenix could be the most improved team this year. There is a lousy team playing in this game, but it aint the Suns....</div> 4 & 1 Isn't bad at all for the Suns ,and perhaps I was too harsh about my observation on that point About the Suns being Lousy...But honestly I Don't think the Suns are all the hype that they have been advertised. There are better teams in the Division like the Lakers who have more depth in my opinion than the Suns,Despite the teams win-loss records, and if the Kings can get their defense going, than we can win. The Suns Aquiring Nash has been good so far,but I just don't see Nash getting the Suns anywhere so soon.maybe i will be wrong in my asessment. But the Kings can actually win this game if our Offensive guys keep things up and we bring the D on,than it is possible for the Kings to come out on top.
tied at 33 in the first. so far the kings have been playing good. Lots of movement away from the ball. moving the ball around well & not taking a lot of quick shots.
57-58 Phx at the half. sac had some good stretches of defense in there... suns were pullin away for a bit & then sac went on a small little run to take the lead by 4. this is totally off topic.. but anyone ever wonder what happened to Harrold Presley? He is doing the halftime show for Comcast Sports Net West...
man, it was a great game to WATCH!! Nash was killing us all game long & was the only reason the Suns were able to stay in the game. Webber played great, but its very obvious that he does not have much of a vertical game anymore after the knee surgury. on a funny note, on the radio post game show, Kozimore asked webber if they could keep from fighting with eachother on the way back home. His response was "actually we are going to start putting some money in a bag and leave some boxing gloves next to it so writers can have something real to write about instead of making things up" when Kozimore asked if the announcers could get in on the deal, Webber said "Of course, in fact you guys are gonna be the first to fight".
PHX is the most exciting team to watch in my opinion. Not sure whos better between them and the lakers right now.Glad to see the kings got a win on the road.I havent got to actually watch any kings games yet so hearing how obvious it is that CWebb still cant get off the ground is frustrating. Is it possible for me to be frustrated that a player cant do the things they used to? Does Webber at least look better than last year physically? About the same?Would appreciate an answer...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting GiantMidget:</div><div class="quote_post"> Does Webber at least look better than last year physically? About the same?Would appreciate an answer...</div> Like I said, its very obvious that he does not have the vertical game that he used to. so far this year he is making up for that by getting better positions to grab rebounds and being more aware of where his team-mates are on the floor looking to pass if he doesnt have a clear mis-match or a clear lane to the hoop. That doesnt mean he isnt playing in the low post at all, I think all but 2 shots that he made in the first have were from within 15 ft. Also, his lateral movement isnt what it used to be either which means that his defensive game is really taking a hit. That is going to be a real issue to be concerned with that Ill cover more in a moment. Pretty much everyone around here knows I have been critical of Webber and I see him as the biggest concern the Kings have this year. But I will say that he looked pretty good last night. He is clearly not the same player as before, but it does look like he is trying to do things differently to compensate for it and after picking up a triple double in the home opener (which by the way was the first time any King has EVER hit a triple double on the home opener in the history of the kings) and a double double last night, it seems to be working. He doesnt seem to be favoring his knees or playing like he is worried they are going to blow out on him. The one problem with it is that they are going to have to focus more on team defense than ever before. Nobody ever accused the Kings of being a good team on defense (let alone great). They did some good things with team defense last night & in small stretches it worked out well. Aside from Webber, they looked to make defensive transitions fairly well and were making the switches after a pick without letting too many guys get wide open. If they can keep that team style defense working for them, they should be alright for the season, and if they can perfect it, it will work for them in the playoffs. The problem is that playing more of a team defensive style to cover for the fact that you have a bunch of guys that cant really play one on one defensivly rarely works because the best teams know how to find the holes in that kind of defense.
It was a well played game on saturday,as Both teams played excellent, and it was so close, but the Kings won,not by much, but a win is a win anyways. Webber's vertical game isn't as good as 4 or 5 years ago,but he had surgery so that is hampering his game.i don't know if he will get his game back, but give him credit,he is doing aliright so far. A Good win for the Kings
