They need to come into this game strong to prove a point. Their legs will be heavy, but they have to play 100% against the Wizards. [*]Set the Pace- It is critical that the Kings set a slow pace for the game, they won't be able to hang with a Wizard team that likes to run. [*]Shut Down the Boards- They can't allow Washington to get 2nd and 3rd chance points, if they do it could turn out to be a long night for the Queens, err Kings.
Washington:
[*]No Peja- Peja is doubtful for the Kings. This is a huge lift for the Wizards, if they can come in and run the Kings to death they should win. They don't have to worry about Peja lurking out at the 3 line and hurting them. [*]No Hughes- Larry Hughes is doubtful for this game. That is a huge loss because with Jarvis "No D" Hayes in the lineup, Cuttino Mobley could have a field day. [*]Antawn- Antawn doesn't show up for every game. This is a game where he must show up, he can't have one of his mediocre shooting nights, the Wizards need him.
Prediction Washington should be able to win this one, they have had a day of rest while the Kings are coming into the second game of a back 2 back. If the Wiz can get out and run, there is no telling how long the Kings can keep up. I take Washington in a good, tight one 106-102. Will we see any Kwame in this one?
Good preview. To me it could go either way in this one, but if I had to pick, i'd see Wiz taking this one 110-106.
I see this as being a good close game. I believe the Wiz will win this one though by four. This will be a high scoring game since both teams are struggling on the defensive side. Nobody should be watching this gme anyawy. The UNC Maryland game is on at 6 anyway.
Yea I saw that too, I almost cried, he's 1-4 so far and has 5 rebounds, hasn't played too well, but this is getting me excited about the Jamison-Kwame-Haywood frontcourt.
Well, I don't expect his shot to be back for awhile..the boarding situation is nice..once again...Arenas has no help.
Ok..its so great how one player can lose you a game..Antawn. Unbelievable...I would love to trade him in the offseason..how about for AK47 Great statline Jamison..you really deserved that allstar spot :7 points (FG:3/15, 3P:1/6, FT:0/2), 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, 6 turnovers, 40 minutes. So damn stupid, don't shoot the fricken ball when you suck that bad. God damn, its not that hard to understand. Steve Blake had a great game, just came up a little bit short on the final shot. 17 pts, 5 boards, 5 assists. Heartbreaking loss, Kings won on a pair of FT's with about 2 seconds left. Oh well Some nights, some teams get lucky. Arenas had a spectacular night, 43 pts, 7 boards, and 3 assists. Antawn was once again the most pathetic player out on the court. 3-15 for 7 points. Kwame Brown had a better game than him, Kwame has been injured all year. Get Jamison off of the court when he sucks like that, because when he sucks like that, he sucks more than Paris Hilton. Kwame had a decent game I guess for someone getting his first major action all year. 31 mins, 10 pts and 10 boards. If I had my way. Arenas would be option 1, Hughes option 2, Kwame option 3, and then Jamison.
Quote:

WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (Ticker) -- A career night for Gilbert Arenas will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Arenas tied a career high with 43 points but fouled Cuttino Mobley with 1.5 seconds left as the Sacramento Kings posted their second dramatic road victory in as many nights, edging the Washington Wizards, 110-108. After Mobley sank two free throws, Washington's Steve Blake got a great look at a 3-pointer that hit the side of the rim and bounced off. Sacramento posted a 101-99 triumph in Philadelphia on Saturday, surviving a last-second attempt by former King Chris Webber.
I'm tellin ya right now, Gilbert is going to hit 50 before the season is over.
