I really do think it's sucks for the Phins. Losing their starting RB and WR. Also just with other players getting hurt in the league. I mean people getting put on IR before the preseason starts just blows. I just hate to see this shit go on. But hey it's football.

Which WR? David Boston? I thought they said the injury was minor

Wanny tried to spin that Boston's injury wasn't as bad. However, when you go down screaming w/o contact you know its bad.

The ironic thing is the Boston had lost al that weight and was in the shape he was back in 2001 when he lit it up (I'd sat tore but...). I wonder how much the conditioning aspect played in the injury.

It's a sad thing that the offense was already going to have to be retooled to more of a passing game with the loss of Ricky and then to lose a potential key to that retooling so early. I feel for you 'Fins fans.

Last season I had enormous expectations, and when they laid a big fat egg against Houston to open the season, it crushed me....I didnt talk to anyone for hours after that, even though a large number of family members were there....but now, I have no expectations of success for this season, Im just hoping its a little easier to take when I already know they are gonna suck....to be clear though, my greatest fear is that they go 4-12 but Wannstedt keeps his job because of the problems....that would be a total disaster....

I was cautiously optimistic going into last season and was disappointed. I am still trying to get the bitter taste of the Texans game and the one in Foxboro out of my mouth.

It turns out the Beef's greatest fear is also mine. It will be tough going thru a sub 500 season but knowing Wanny may stay because of circumstances makes me ill. It will be Wanny's vanilla style and refusal to adapt that will get him axed by October. I say can him now & name Trestman the coach.

worse situation could happen - wannstedt now with lower expectations wins 9 games and misses playoffs and gets extension because he has proven he can win without talent.

Of course, he's proven he can win w/o a talent. DW is most untalented assclown in the coaching ranks today and he's won in spite of himself and his bland style
