SAF & British produced players - Since when?

SAF starts off his commentary on the lack of success on the national front by attacking (in a positive manner) the failing academy system. Then true to form, he talks garbage about British grown players being forced onto clubs. Below is the part that riles me:

"There have been a number of theories flying about but the recommendation of having four or five British-produced players in your team is a sensible one."

SAF and all you would be pro-british-players-in-squads, since when did a British FA existed on these isles? As an Arsenal fan, i would NOT accept any players being forced into our squad simply because he's British. That person MUST earn the right to be a Gunner. if they are no good, they'd be thrown out..simple. It's like saying at least 5 Bavarians MUST be in Bayern or a better analogy: 5 Californians MUST be in LA Galaxy. That's BS. You must be lucky that Scotland, Wales, England and even NI all have representation on Uefa and Fifa. How would it be if germany demanded two seats - one West and one for East Germany? or the Russian Federation demanded seats for all its home member nations? When there's only one UK FA, and therefore one UK premier leauge etc then you can have your quota of 5 British-producced players. You lot are so greedy it's beyond a joke.

I wish I were on the FIFA/UEFA committees, I'd campaign for the removal of all British FA's till you present a unified UK FA.
