Rosenfels May Start Against Titans ...2005-12-19[Sun-Sentinel] Dolphins quarterback Sage Rosenfels may receive his second start of the season Saturday against Tennessee.Dolphins coach Nick Saban said Monday that Gus Frerotte will be evaluated "day to day" after aggravating a finger injury in last Sunday's 24-20 home victory over the New York Jets. Frerotte missed the entire second half and was replaced by Rosenfels, who completed six of 13 passes for 99 yards and one touchdown.Saban said Frerotte will start if healthy despite Rosenfels leading the Dolphins (7-7) to victories in two of their past three games in a relief role."I don't think we're looking to create a quarterback controversy here," Saban said. "Gus did a pretty good job in the (Jets) game. Nobody is disappointed in Gus' performance. Sage did a good job when he came in. We have every confidence that if he needs to play in the game he can play effective football for us. That's where it is."FinHeaven & Co Forums

Why not? He's the better quarterback anyway.
