<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Saints | Team a strong player for Brees?Fri, 10 Mar 2006 05:19:12 -0800Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports the New Orleans Saints have stepped forward as the strongest bidder for free agent QB Drew Brees (Chargers), according to an NFL source. The Saints, Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions have reportedly been the strongest suitors to date, but the Saints have guaranteed more money than the other two teams. ''From what I know right now, it's set where he's going, and it's not Miami,'' the source said.</div>Please make this move, Keep Brees out of Miami!
Wow the Saint's kind of came out of no where in the Brees hunt. If they managed to get him that could shake up the draft order quite a bit..suddenly the top 10 isn't looking so certain anymore.
Damnit! No Brees come to Baltimore! If the Saints actually do get Drew Brees, this draft will be alot more interesting.
NEW ORLEANS -- Drew Brees visited with the New Orleans Saints Sunday, but left town without a deal.Brees, a free agent, is being pursued by the Saints as a replacement for Aaron Brooks. He left Sunday to meet with the Miami Dolphins in Birmingham, Ala., where he has been rehabilitating his surgically repaired right shoulder. He went 20-11 the past two seasons for San Diego, but when contract talks with the Chargers stalled, they agreed to let him test the market." Dang no deal that means Miami is the next team on his list. "
