The ratings are in, and the NFL remains a television juggernaut. Peter King of Sports Illustrated reports that Thursday night's Vikings-Saints game drew a 17.7 rating and 28 share on NBC, making it the highest-rated NFL opening night game ever. Those strong ratings to start the 2010 season follow a record-breaking 2009 season for the NFL, a record-breaking season that culminated with Super Bowl XLIV as the most-watched television program in history. And so we see once again that the NFL is more popular than it has ever been. And we beg the owners and the union not to allow labor unrest to change that. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/2.php
Farve looked like crap in the game. Made some terrible reads and under threw a lot of his passes. I was expecting a more high scoring game especially after the Saints first drive down the field.
