For example, if you're going to spend $50 on Larry Johnson or Shaun Alexander, you'd be better off getting two solid players...like Steven Jackson and Anquan Boldin for $50 instead. Also, get the cheapest kicker you can and don't splurge on a defense unless your scoring system gives defenses ridiculous points. Also, look for cheap players with big upside. Like Troy Williamson in Minnesota or Vernon Davis in San Fran.
