<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Salim Stoudamire was suspended two games without pay Thursday for conduct detrimental to the team, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Stoudamire will miss Friday's game against the Pacers and Saturday night's home game against Milwaukee. While coach Mike Woodson wanted to keep the incident inside the organization, he did hint that it was related to Stoudamire's attitude about substitutions. "There's a standard of behavior in the locker room, on the floor and everywhere else that I think you have to uphold as a good teammate that just isn't there," Woodson told The AJC. "I'm not going to tolerate it. Not from Salim or anyone else on this team." Stoudamire, whose enigmatic reputation has followed him through his career, was benched earlier in the season for essentially the same offense. Lute Olson, his coach in college at Arizona, benched him in both his junior and senior seasons because of his attitude and demeanor. </div> Source Once again Salim has shown his immaturity. The owners around the league need to collectively get together and start blacklisting these type of players. I'm getting sick of players in the league who feel it's their right to be in the NBA and have no idea how lucky they are to be in the league making millions.
haha. lol. i wonder what he did. i hope he cleans up his act because he has great talent. i just hope he doesnt waste it
Salim was by far the best shooter to come out of last year's draft, and it was fun to watch him play for the Wildcats last year. Bummer about this, though. I've always like the guy.
