Southern Illinois sophomore guard Diamond Taylor has been suspended for violation of team rules, Salukis coach Chris Lowery announced on Friday. "Diamond remains a member of our team and his discipline will be handled internally," Lowery said in a statement. "His actions going forward will be an important consideration. "I am disappointed when any of our players makes an error in judgment, but I am confident that Diamond will learn from this mistake and move forward." Taylor transferred to Southern Illinois after a run-in with the law as a freshman at Wisconsin. He was arrested on charges of burglary and possession of stolen property after being caught with iPods, a cellphone and more than $400 in cash after leaving a Wisconsin campus dorm in September 2009.
