You think the Packers will make a run at him? He's run the defense we have installed for a good portion his career right? If Bates was HC I have no doubt that he'd be here quick. I would like to see him here myself, is their any special reason other than cap cost that the dolphins cut him? He seemed to still play at a pretty high level last year when I saw him. If we could bring him in for a good deal I think it could spell the end for Amahd Carroll AKA "The Clap".

The cap was the reason he was cut. Sam may restuctre w/ Miami who knows. I wouldn't mind it.

I would like to see Sam redo his contract and finish his career with the Dolphins. I don't think it makes much sense for the Packers to try and sign Sam. Sam is an older corner and the Packers are entering a rebuilding process. I think the Pack should go after a younger corner that they can keep for awhile.

Yeah, they are in the re-building process, but having a great veteran like that to accompany some young talent is never a bad thing. Young guys in the NFL learn really well from veterans and he's one of the best, so all-in-all, I don't think it'd be a bad idea. If they can't get Madison, taking a shot at Coleman wouldn't be a bad idea, he's still pretty good. Plummer might not be bad either, he's not too old, but he's seen all sides of the league in his years, and they'd be able to hold onto him for awhile as well.
