His: Noah vs. Oden article, basically explaining that Noah should be picked before Oden. Off of the Zybot thread.

Now his new article is a Gem.

    CLASSIC STUFF!

Most of the abuse he did to Noah had nothing to do with noah being late to rotate after covering the pick and roll. He was standing clearly behind him. He's just not strong enough.

Sam Smith is a bust and should be sent to writers D-league.

I do think it's kind of funny how he discusses Oden's weight advantage as if it weren't for his massive difference in size Noah might have manhandled Greg instead. This isn't boxing or wrestling Sam, there are no weight classes.

All I read is a Homer trying to make an excuse for being out-matched. LOL. Kinda like some in here (Me included) making excuses for Webs, Outlaw and others not living up to their potential. They can't fool me! I am the #1 excuse maker!

Make no mistake, Noah is still having a helluva nice year. And Smith is a Bulls employee, so we're basically dealing with their version of Mike Barrett

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Noah is the caliber of a solid complementary player as a starting big and a great reserve. I wish the Blazers had him to back up Aldridge.

It simply never made sense to compare him to Oden. It would be like comparing Jeff Green to Kevin Durant. Sure, Green is a nice, useful player. He's just not anywhere near the caliber of Durant.

Mike Barrett would never write an article like that. No way, no how. He maybe a "pro-Blazers" but I've never read him right something as "HOMER" as what Smith wrote "Noah should be picked over Oden"

The comparison of Durant vs. Oden holds more merit, because both are super-star type talent. Noah is a great "Role Player" and I would love having him back up Aldridge as well. But all I do is laugh when I read Smith saying Noah should be picked over Oden. COMICAL.

Thats what I thought as I read it. He almost makes it sounds as if its not fair that Oden can weigh that much and still move like that.

Hey Sam, guess what? that's the whole point! Thats what makes him him good, special and dare I say ... dominate? What a dumbass.

You don't read Barrett's blog enough then. That dude is the biggest Steve Blake honk and sunshine pumper I've ever seen.

Talking up a player is one thing. Saying Blake is better than CP3 because his Assist/TO ratio is better is completely another.

I'm too lazy to go hunt for quotes, but I actually wonder if he's said that ...
