The team is playing great. They get the fans feeling good and the people in the hockey media start talking about how good and dangerous this team is. Then you get the game against the Islanders and last nights game where this team reverts right back to their old ways. Honestly I don't know what to expect with the upcoming rivalry games.

To be honest mess, I was not buying into the latest streak. The team as whole is still flawed. I do admit that I felt better about the team and how certain super stars have finally stepped up their game. I would not be surprised if they sweep both outdoor games then lose to the isles at home.

This offense just isn't going to get it done over a course of a full season. Nash has gone crazy of late but everyone else just isn't even close to consistent enough. If I'm playing the Rangers I put a body on Nash at all times and dare somebody else to score.

Did anyone see that butt end kreider took to the head by backes and think that should have been called with about 6 min left in first period?

Outside of missing more high end talent, the defenseman are just average at both ends of the ice. McDonagh is the only one who's above average.
