<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The good news is, Dalembert practiced full throttle on Sunday, although Iverson sat out with the sore knee. Both Dalembert and Webber participated in a scrimmage, then played some one-on-one after practice.

Webber had been practicing, but Dalembert had basically been doing non-contact things, such as shooting and drill work. Both likely will play in at least one of the team's two remaining preseason games, if not both.

"Oh, man, it's a great feeling just to be back," said the 6-foot-11 Dalembert. "I wanted to stay the whole practice and get myself into shape. I gained too much weight, so I need to try to get back to my usual weight."

"He was just hyper, man," Cheeks said. "He was all over the place, too, talking. It was good to see him out there, though. That's an example of knowing that a guy needs to be on the practice floor before going out into a game. Your energy, your adrenaline, takes you all over the place. He did some good things.

"He hasn't played all summer, then not playing at camp and any exhibition games is tough for anybody. We've got to get him in and let him just kind of play. I've seen him play, but I haven't had the opportunity to really coach him yet. We'll wait to see how he feels. If he's ready to play Tuesday, we'll let him play."

Said Dalembert, who says he's rusty offensively: "If I know I feel good, I might not play as much, but I might go out there and play a little bit. The first thing I'm going to try to do is get my sprint back. I feel like I'm slow out there."

The Sixers' final preseason game is Thursday at San Antonio. They host Milwaukee Tuesday, Nov. 1 to open their regular season.</div>

Eh. I don't what to say. [IMG]

At least he is on the floor again and was hyper according to Cheeks. I'm sure he'll be at decent form by the time the season begins, but still it's obviously not the most encouraging article for the most part.

    EDIT:

This a quote from the Sixers practice audio. (Oct 24--today)

"I was going 150 mph today, I need to calm myself down a little bit." - Dalembert

Okay, now I'm confused. I don't know what to believe. Is he in shape or not? Only time will tell. I can't wait till next Tuesday.

well, all i can say is that it seems like he was running all over the place trying to get things done. lets just hope that he doesnt decide to get out of shape just because he signed a long term deal. as for the article. yes, it is confusing. it said he gained some pounds, but he was running at 150 mph??
