Yes, the spurs will repeat and i'm not in the mood to explain why. All these other "contenders" like the suns and mavs will be exposed. The finals will beSpurs vs MiamiSpurs in 6Edit: I'll explain now.Why i think San antonio will advance is given. TD has been playing with Plantar fasciitis and yet is putting up 19.5/11/15/3/2. He's also in relaxation mode because he doesn't need to play very well for his team to succeed.Once the playoffs start you will see the healthy hungry TD back. Also the bench factors in where you have veterans who can come in and play when the startes are resters. Van exel, Robert horry extra. Also they have a defensive stopper who can slow down star players and have a couple crunchtime players.Spurs can also beat teams at their own game. They beat the suns at their own game then they beat the pistons in an all defensive war. Maimi is a 50 50. Let it be know, Tayshaun prince cannot stop Wade. Also if detroit keep on going on like they did and give shaq no respect he'll abuse ben wallace. If they do Shaq is going to kick it out to players who can hit them. It's a 50 50 because if all the players on the team play to their excat roles then the miami wins. I'm still not convinced of Flip saunders coaching style and if they can win like they have been but maybe he'll prove me wrong. I just think the pistons have lost that intensity on D but maybe i'm wrong. In the finals Duncan can overshadow Shaq. Duncan in prervious seasons has outplayed Shaq and he can do it against. Bruce isn't like tayshaun and can do a better job against wade. I just see the veteran help of guys like Finely, Exel and others being too much for Miami.Don't say i'm biased because i don't like the two teams involved. This is how i see it. Discuss it.

Both Miami and the Pistons can beat the Spurs. I think its a toss up.

No, both of them can take Spurs far but i don't see them beating the spurs.

So Dirk isn't in relaxation mode? Come on man. The mavs have a good chance this year in knocking out the spurs. I think the Pistons will knock off the Heat who are not the same team this year as last.

Lol, I don't want to argue. This is how i see it. Duncan is playing with Plantar fasciitisand is till able to put up a double double something that dirk hasn't been able to do his whole career. Isn't it strange that how hot dallas are Spurs are only one game back? Especially with their best player playing injured. The keys to the series will be Bowen's defense, Duncan and the bench. Their bench have guys who can come out and play and increase the lead, veterans who've been there before and have hit big shots. And as i said i'm still not convinced of Phil saunders offensive scheme in the playoffs. I said it was a 50 50 but i see Miami coming out.

Spurs will have to get past the Mavs and/or the Suns to even get into the Finals, and when they get there the Heat and Pistons both have the capability to beat them. The bench hasn't shown enough to convince me that they have the depth of the Pistons, Heat, Mavericks, and Suns. They are still the team to beat, but IMO they will be beaten somewhere down the road.

There best player is injured and they still have won 40 games. That is spectacular.

Who said Duncan was going to get better though. PF and playing basketball does not help your situation. Parker's having a phenomenal year and that is why they have 40 wins. Also almost half of Dallas's team has been injured at different times of this year. Stackhouse, Howard, and Daniels got the worst of it. Maybe not star players but they bring a lot to Dallas.

Yeat true but plantar fasciitis does get better and after it leaves you you get better If Dallas can get pass the spurs which is very unlikely in my mind i think they can give detoit or miami a scare. Maybe even win it.But still i dont' see them getting pass the spurs so that really doesn't matter.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The finals will beSpurs vs MiamiSpurs in 6</div>Simply be quiet. I'm tired of you and your predictions. If you would just say it's what you think, that's fine. But you act like it's true and a fact, that pisses me off. Also, I don't need to read a essay on why you think it's a fact, I'll watch the playoffs and see it unfold with my eyes.Only thing I agree with, is the Spurs are the team to beat.

I said why i think. I never said it was a fact but i'm 90% sure of who's coming out in the west. East is a different story, i'm torn up between that.

I don't see how San Antonio isn't the team to beat. Tim Duncan is playing the worst basketball of his career, and they still sit atop the West with Dallas. What happens when he starts playing like he can? That's what I thought

The pistons have a much better chance of making the finals than the spurs.

Detroit have hit their peak like wade said, there not going to get better.Imagine if the finals turned out to be Suns Vs Miami. That's the one i'm hoping unfolds.

Defense in the playoffs is crucial and Miami doesn't have that. Walker and Jason Williams are really bad defenders and Haslem isn't that good either. No disrespect to Miami but I feel it would be a short series between Miami and Detroit.

Wizards, the underdog win the title, you heard it from me first. [IMG] JK, but I actually think that Dallas can do some damage this year in the playoffs with the way they've been playing recently.

James posey could do what eddie jones did for them last season. Stroke the 3 and play D. Jason williams is a bad defender but Damon jones wasn;t that better.

Charles Barkley is a flippin idiot. He actually said the mavs were not a good rebounding club. And dallas and suns have become better defensive clubs. Gotta give them that.
