    Simply put he's a lazy player. Jogging after a passed ball cost a run and it's inexcusable to be jogging to first on the last play of the game.

    Saw video of that play, Sanchez totally embarrassed the franchise with an excessively sloppy play. Boone should have nailed his butt promptly instead of letting him stay in the game to achieve the credit for making the last out. Billy Martin had no problem pulling 3 World Series Ring Reggie out of game against Boston back in '77. Noted that Sevey and Gardner were on Sanchez case did not notice Boone involved. Some one noted on pre-game conversation that Sanchez has gone the route of Jesus Montero so help his ass along the way. But Manager Boone being the great communicator will assure us all that Gary will "come along" and be himself. The General Manager & owners should be involved in actions taken as well.

    ..."I could have done a better job"........yeah, no shit Gary;

    http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/...z-admits-hustled-key-play-loss-tampa-bay-rays

    ...also noticed after looking at the replay of the 1st inning play, that once Sanchez finally got to the ball and threw it too late for Seve to tag the runner out at home, Seve seem to give Sanchez a sort of "WTF?" look....I wonder if that got in Seve's head and caused him to fume and lose his concentration on the mound?
    ...something else that is a pet peeve of mine...our children are forced to take Spanish classes in school, but Sanchez, who has been playing in this country for SEVEN years now but has not even bothered to learn how to speak enough English to the point of still having to rely on an interpreter during interviews?

    I got a real hard on for that language thing as well. He lives, works, well paid and has not a reciprocal courtesy to learn the language. I don't think Boone has the balls to bench him, nor Cashamn to back up his manager if he does.

    According to the twits at ESPN the Yankees aren't going to win anyway. Sanchez only caused a one game loss and plenty of footage can be found of great players not hustling. Also that Boone shoud communicate with his player in a "kind and gentle manner" according to modern standards. I say to heel with that, bench the SOB but again Boone doesn't have the sack to do so.

    Now yanks saying Sanchez reinjured his groin which makes sense because he hasn’t run hard since he was reinstated. We can get by with Romine and shitikaka till he comes back

    More like he has “Sonny Gray-itis.” His feelings are hurt and he can’t handle it. Trade him. Seriously. The primadonna attitude and lackadaisical effort are unnecessary. Trade him and get back a legit starter. He can certainly bring that back and Romine has shown he is a more than capable catcher and he actually can hit for contact and not power, which is something this lineup desperately needs also.

    Saying Sanchez reinjured his groin is probably a cop out by the "Brass" and a trip back to the DL means that no balls Boone will have to day anything. Trad him, that's an idea but who the hell would want him.

    ...I call BS on that report...for one, Sanchez said nothing about his groin after the game. Secondly, Sanchez barely ran out of the box on that last play and did not run hard until he realized that Hicks was not out at 2B...people with bad groins can't do that. This is damage control after the fact, either by Sanchez or the Yanx.

    Was it this one? We all know what Billy Martin would do and say. Even Joe would be throwing a fit. Joe, Jooooeee, JOOOOEEEEYYYY please come home.

    baBoone is 6 feet over his head. This is what happens when you have a rookie manager who has to be so tender and delicate with big fucking egos!!! Correction he doesn't have to be he, chooses to be,. baBoone's another primadonna, and we all know how players reflect from the example set by a Mgr....

    Uh-Huh, er well uh, maybe, perhaps, in the event of, I was looking elsewhere, he didn't mention, oops duh, babble, babble, babble like a brook. More full of shit than a septic tank. I'll bet Girardi is laughing his ass of this sham of a manager.

    "First off I got to watch things, gotta watch the tapes too, and see what I'm seeing, uuhhhmmm, we have conversations with our guys, positive, negative whatever, uuhh ugghhh, but but nut uuhhh, first we got it see things to see what we're seeing; well uuhh uuhh well..."

    baBoone's looosssst, over his head, isn't so camera saavy under the lights.
    Atrocious Trashman's a venteiloquist to baBoones clone dummy. Look real close and you'll see boom setting on trash man's knee, look even closer you'll see Trashman's fingers sticking out of Boones throat; he's got his hand so far up his ass.
