All of the coaching positions seem to be filling up fast and Nate hasn't gotten one yet. That means either he is not in demand, or he is negotiating for the one he really wants. I wonder which it is, and if he is in the driver's seat, which club wants him? What do you suppose?
I think he has his sights set on two or three teams at most, and is holding out for one of those positions. I don't see him stepping into a situation where he doesn't think he can succeed on his own terms.
Beggars can't be choosers. The Hawks brought him in for an interview and decided he didn't cut the mustard and went in a different direction. He might have to settle with Detroit if they want him.
Agreed, he is a good "bad team" coach, or to narrow it down even more a young undisciplined team. I think Detroit would be a great fit. College is a good idea for him also.
