I was listening to 101 the Fox this morning (for those not in the KC area that is the radio home of the Chiefs) Things did not sound good. They visited practice yesterday and said Will Shield appeared to be in alot of pain, I guess Trent is not feeling right (numbness in his toes) and they said he was playing awful. Also nobody is sure if Bell will play alot this season. His shoulder seems to be a problem. I dunno, this is just the opinion of a couple of announcers, but it does not sound good. Any thoughts?

Well, at least they found Trent's problem. Hopefully the procedure was as simple as they say.

Who would be the backup QB for the Chiefs? I bet Green's injury isn't that bad but if they said Shield was in PAIN he must be, so it could be serious.

I dont wish bad luck on the chiefs, but it sounds like to me that if this is true The Jets might have that week 1 game in the bag. [IMG]

I don't think the Trent Green injury is serious, but Shields injury could be substantial. Like 3-4 Weeks into the season.

Agreed, and Shields is the heart of the OL. And the OL is what makes our offense tick. Just have to wait and see.

Yeah hes kinda unproven but hes got potential. They can still win with him taking the snaps if they try and keep the ball on the ground an only throw when they have alot of yards to go on 3rd down
