He has no 1st Amendment rights on Facebook- doh- He had to take down an anti-Muslim post on FB, and apologized- He lost those public rights in His contract, I'd assume, and I don't like to assume anything, ... I've never been a Schilling Fan, ( ) ...and He should of refused, or disciplined himself, to realize he should of spoke only baseball to the public. He does lose his freedom of speech with his employer, its part of the job, and Corp. Contract. His off subject diatribes during games he's calling, are like Joe Morgan all over again. But, think he was spot on with this part of his comments: You frauds out there ranting and screaming about my 'opinions' (even if it isn't) and comments are screaming for "tolerance" and "acceptance" while you refuse to do and be either. ...like Trump, while I do agree in principle to some of his views, Schilling likewise tends to articulate his thoughts in a way that turns people off. This would be my biggest concern, and I'd bet anything that celebs like Springsteen & Ringo Starr wouldn't want there young daughters in the same bathroom with a guy.
Schilling has just made some very bad choices since retiring. Opinions are fine but if you're going to be employed by a brand you have to understand they have the right to decide what they want to and don't want to be associated with. His biggest mistake was sinking his entire life savings into a failed video game venture. Business people usually say never use your own money and if you do you have to manage your risk.
Passing laws for 0.1% of the population is not sustainable for any society. So sorry for Tranny's but they need to accept that they are different from 99.9% of others and laws will be based on standard qualifiers: age, biologic/genetic sex, race, creed. Sexual preference or identities need not be catered to.

Society cannot function with ambiguous gender norms. period. end of story. Its real simple: If you have a Y chromosome, you are genetically male. Mutations with additional chromosomes don't matter.
