Schilling, already out for this season, said Monday it will be at least five weeks before he must decide whether to make a run at returning for 2009. His right arm in a sling, he said his shoulder is "sorer than I expected it to be." Schilling made his first public appearance since his surgery last month on the tendon and labrum in his shoulder. He attended a charity event on behalf of the Shade Foundation founded by his wife, Shonda, a skin cancer survivor.</div>
