<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">While you can't quite see the playoffs from here, you can see something that is missing from the Magic's regular season that will rear its head in the postseason. And that's scoring late in games. There's two minutes left, Magic? Where's your go-to guy? The Magic have experienced late scoring droughts throughout the season. Losses on the road to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns on this current road trip underscored the problem. The Magic don't have anybody to carry them across the rising, turbulent waters of a close game. You can often get away with not having a designated go-to guy in the regular season, riding the scoring-by-committee plan or a hot shooter on a given night. But in a seven-game playoff series, where conference teams have already played you at least three times and know your tendencies, it's critical. While the Magic obviously don't have a Lebron or a D-Wade, they need somebody they can give the ball to in a time of need. Dwight Howard? Not there yet, but a candidate. Grant Hill? Oh, if it were only 1998. Jameer Nelson? Has his moments. Hedo Turkoglu. Streaky. And that exhausts the list. For now, they must work with what they have, and work better together down the stretch. That go-to guy for them might be playing elsewhere now.</div> Source
