Obviously, any game involving another WC playoff team is significant, but I'm only specifically listing those which involve two of them, or ones that I think might be particularly tough for the teams currently ahead of us.

    3/31:
    Oklahoma City at Boston
    Dallas at Memphis

    4/1:
    Orlando at Dallas
    Portland at Denver

    4/2:
    Utah at LA Lakers
    Orlando at San Antonio

    4/3:
    Oklahoma City at Dallas
    Phoenix at Milwaukee

    4/4:
    San Antonio at LA Lakers

It's not unreasonable to think that by Sunday, we could be in the 6 spot, just a game back of Denver for #5, and within shouting distance of Dallas. Home court possible? Who'da thunk?

Even though Denver is going through a tough stretch right now, it's going to be damn near impossible to beat them on their home court on the 2nd of a back-to-back. That crowd always gets up for the Blazers, the altitude factor is no joke at all, and they will be scrapping for home-court, too. No MIXUM negativity here, but I'll be pleasantly shocked if the Blazers win that game. Perhaps if they do, they really are going to make some hay in the playoffs.

The good news is that playing someone in the second night of a back-to-back means we have them right where we want them. 14-3 in such situations is no joke.

Remember, Portland has basically played it's best ball this season on the second half of back to backs. I agree, it'll be a tough game, an acid-test for this current group to really show what they're made of, but I won't be shocked if they pull it off. The way they've been playing over the last month, they've made a believer out of me.

If MIXUM played the prediction game, he'd have been right 29 times so far, and wrong 45 times.

I have to admit that it is pretty amazing that the Blazers can clinch a playoff spot tonight but you don't think they can beat the Knicks, at the Rose Garden no less. That takes some pretty amazing pessimism, MIXUM. You da Grinch.

I was watching NBATV game night the other night when the Knicks were playing Utah. The first play they showed, Sergio comes down the lane, drives into 3 guys, gets rejected(by Ronnie Price no less), and it goes for a fast break the other way.

I am so glad that guy is gone.

Were going to clinch a playoff spot no matter what, I'd rather see the Mavs lose.
