Chandler, who is entering his sixth NBA season despite turning 24 on Monday, has career averages of 7.1 points and 7.7 rebounds. Scott said Tuesday that he is not worried about a perceived lack of low-post offense, largely because of forward David West and the addition of Chandler. "We still got some guys that we're trying to develop in the post, Tyson being one of them," Scott said. I think if Tyson can develop into a decent post presence it could definitely help the Hornets offense. For some reason I'm not too high on the Hornets though, I don't think they have enough inside presence.
In terms of posting up, he doesn't really have much strength for that, but he could be a really nice face up guy if he could develop those skills. A jumpshot would be a nice first step for that.
