The days of Scott Williams battling some of the league's top centers and helping the Chicago Bulls win NBA titles are long gone.

At 36, Williams' role certainly has changed. The knees can't hold up as long as they used to, but Williams still has some valuable things to offer the Cavaliers. That's exactly why General Manager Jim Paxson signed him.

"Scott has been terrific from the time we brought him in," Paxson said. "He has energy and an enthusiasm that is contagious. He's a good guy and a hard-working guy. There may be stretches where he plays 10 minutes per game and there may be stretches where he doesn't get in, but he's going to come and be part of the team."
