After a woeful performance from the free-throw line in the first half, No. 23 North Carolina State found its touch in the second half and needed almost every one to avoid being upset by Boston College. The Wolfpack went 21 of 24 from the line after the break, making their final 15 and holding off the Eagles 78-73 on Saturday, extending NC State's winning streak to nine straight in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener.
