The Clips will be without scoring leader G/F Corey Maggette for their last game unless he feels up to playing before game time. The Sonics' Luke Ridnour has been bi-polar lately by having his best game as a rookie against Dallas and then committing four fouls in five minutes against Houston. Sonics fans hope he switches back over to that first side. The SuperSonics lead the season series 3-0. Hard to go past Seattle here. I think the Clips are on a double digit losing streak, and have now overtaken Phoenix as the Pacific division cellar dwellars. Hard to see them getting up here, even if they are playing at home. Elton Brand will have a big game, but Seattle will win by 15+.
^ He should be, my guess is that's the same template I gave to Shard to do the preview with, which was then Vlade was out injured. I'll edit it.
Seattle 118 LA Clippers 87 Nice way to finish the season , with a blow out win over the Clippers, but it's all meaningless in the end. Ray Allen finished his first full season in Seattle with 26 points and 11 assists, while Vladimir Radmanovic showcased his wares to end perhaps his last season in Seattle with 25 points on 11-16 shooting. Calvin Booth scored a dozen, Luke Ridnour and Vitaly Potapenko added 10 each, while Ron Murray had seven dimes from the bench. For the Clips, ironically it was former Seattle draft pick Bobby Simmons having a career game with 24 and 10, while Eddie House and Chris Wilcox added 12 each. Box Score courtesy of NBA.com. Well Supes fans, that's it for another season, and we can be far from satisfied. Big changes need to be made this offseason - this current roster is a bit of a mess at the moment; plenty of talent, but little structure.
That pretty much sums it up, nice end to a subpar season. I really hope the Sonics management will make a significant step forward into returning Seattle to its contender status this offseason. Cross your fingers come lottery time as well .
