For Dallas, Michael Finley enjoyed the last meeting, scoring 20 af his game-high 35 in the last quarter, while undrafted rookie Marquis Daniels went close to a triple double. Dirk Nowitzki has enjoyed playing Seattle this season, scoring a career high 43 in their first match-up and averaging in excess of 30 a game overall.

Dallas has too many offensive weapons for the Sonics, therefore they should easily take this one.

For the Sonics to stay in this game, they need to defend Dirk. He always plays well against the Sonics.

I think it'll be close because the Sonics have been playing well lately. But i'll say Mavs by 3.

The Mavericks took this one, it was a good game. I liked the intensity level of the Mavs fans!

Not too much to take out of this game. Ansu Sesay, Luke Ridnour and Richie Frahm all played at least 20 minutes, with Sesay getting 30. Ron Murray had a career high 11 assists, Sesay had his first career double double while Ray and Brent Barry had a team high 20 points each. Frahm added 14.

Dallas played their regular rotation so it would be a shock to me if they had dropped this one. The game was lost in the first quarter with Dallas scoring 34-21, but on the whole it's good to see Nate emptying his bench in what I suspect is a view to the expansion draft.
