The Spurs have also beat teams such as Detroit and Sacramento in the past six games. This should prove to be a daunting task for the Sonics who are trying to rebound from a ten point loss to the Dallas Mavericks and dropping five of their past six games. Ronald Murray has played especially well against the Spurs this year so he may get some added minutes for the 'Supes'. The Spurs lead the season series 3-0. I'd be surprised if the Spurs came away with anything less than a double digits win. There are probably the form team of the league, along with Detroit, and Duncan as usual should be too much to handle. An interesting sidenote should be the battle of Bruce Bowen and Ray Allen, after numerous run ins throughout the season. Spurs by 14.
Well this one is turning into a blowout, but this is pretty much a formaility anyway. No Rashard Lewis or Vlade Radmanovic, and Nate is spreading the minutes across the whole team line-up. Nothing more than a tune up for San Antonio as they head into the playoffs.
Seattle 75 San Antonio 96 Well final score was 96-75, not even that close on the floor. Ray led Seattle with 17 points, Sesay added 13 and Luke Ridnour 12. Nate shared the minutes around, and recent signing Leon Smith had two points and two rebounds in four minutes at the end. Not much more to say on this one, Spurs are looking cherry ripe for a run at a repeat. Box Score courtesy of NBA.com. Next Game: vs Mavericks, Saturday April 10th
Expected this one, I feel like if I went and told someone that didn't like basketball that the Spurs beat the Sonics, they would reply "duh".
