<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Seattle PI - In a poll of registered voters of Seattle, 78 percent of those polled said they were "more inclined (to) let the Sonics leave Seattle" than to pay for renovation with "use taxes," according to the survey conducted June 1-5 by independent pollster Stuart Elway."When you frame it that way, 'Do you want to pay taxes to build an arena or have them leave Seattle?' I think that's a pretty crude way," Deputy Mayor Tim Ceis said. "That much ambiguity isn't going to elicit a very positive response no matter what."Source: Seattle PI</div>
This is fcked up ^. I wonder where they will go to next if it were to happen. All i know, is that I'm not gonna be a fan of the Idaho Spuds.
I hope they don't head over to California, 5 teams would be ridiculous. Maybe Las Vegas, they could use a basketball team, all the major tourist attractions have one, I wonder what they will (if they will) rename them.
I think they will move to St. Louis. The city has a team for every major sport but Basketball, and I think it would be a good fit for them.
Wow, those percetages are terrible. It's sad for true Sonic fans living in Seattle, but it's obvious this team needs to move.
If they were to move I wouldnt be surprised to see Oklahoma at the top of the list of potential suitors based on how they welcomed the Hornets this past season..
